Situated in a magnificent position overlooking Portland Harbour and Henty Bay, with excellent new facilities and further development planned for the immediate future, Bayview College is able to offer quality, independent, coeducational secondary schooling in the centre of Portland.

Bayview College has undergone significant growth in recent years. There has been a major Building Program, which has provided staff and students with a wonderful environment in which to live and learn. The College now has excellent new facilities for Materials Technology; Food Technology; Art, Textiles and Photography; Dance, Media and Drama; Science, a new Gymnasium and well-furbished classrooms.

The College has also undergone a major curriculum review, so that it can now offer a wide range of choices within a small school context. Representatives of the College administration have recently been invited by a Federal Government agency to lead Professional Development activities for other schools on the topic of curriculum diversity and catering for individual difference in student ability.

The College Teaching and Learning Team continues to plan for new ways to deepen and share the learning experience as we move into the 21st century.
